Cisco's Connected Grid BU has developed IP-enabling technology for Smart Grid devices, such as:

  • Smart grid automation sensors and control devices (e.g. IEDs, pole-top devices)
  • Smart Electric, Gas, Water Meters
  • Distributed generation sensors and controllers (e.g. solar inverters)
  • Electric vehicles and charging stations

Cisco is making this technology available for licensing and embedding into vendor products via this technology center of CDN.
